Teen Trip to the Wilds, Brevard, North Carolina - 30 teens from our youth ministries headed south for a week of fun and friends and a chance to escape the normal things in life to focus on their relationship with God. God worked in many of their lives as they came back determined to live out the work that God is doing in their hearts.

This was the scene at the Landmark Baptist Church and Christian School facilities on March 23 as hundreds of 7-12th grade competitors made there way into the gymnasium for the 2012 ODACS Fine Arts and Bible Competition Award Ceremony. LCS did well in the competition placing 3rd overall in the State of Virginia. Here are a few pictures of the ceremony and some of the LCS students who placed in competition.

The final Christmas production led by Mr. Bob Wokaty was a wonderful experience. It was entitled "Promised One" and combined Scripture reading with beautiful music by the LBC Choir and Orchestra. One man came to know Jesus as his Savior! After the events, the church honored Bob and Tena Wokaty for their faithful work in the music of LBC with a reception in the gymnasium. The evening concluded as the church presented the Wokaty's with an expenses paid trip to see their son and his family who live in Mexico. The Wokaty's have never been to Mexico to visit them.
