What can I expect when I visit?

You can’t miss our facilities located just off of Creighton Road. Feel free to park anywhere in our main lot located just off the side of the main building as soon as you pull on the property. The main entrance to the church is located the parking lot side of auditorium

There will be greeters in the foyer that can help if you need directions to the nursery or kids classes. During a service, there will be music in the forms of congregational singing, choir specials, instrumental songs, and solos. The pastor will greet the church as a whole and lead everyone in prayer. There will be a helpful, challenging message given by Pastor Sumpter, and the entire service will be a little over an hour in length.

Visitors are welcome in all of our meetings and services. Our Sunday School Bible Classes begin at 9:45 AM. There are classes for all children and adults. Sunday School is one of the best ways to get to know the people around Landmark. The Sunday evening service is much like the morning worship, but the preaching is often focused in some type of practical life series. Wednesday evening we have kids clubs at 7:00 PM (during the school year) and an adult prayer service at 7:30 PM, both of these groups finish simultaneously at 8:30 PM.

Where do my children go?

Starting with infants and toddlers, we have excellent nursery services with qualified workers, clean facilities, and a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Nurseries are provided during every service including Sunday school, and they are located just off the main foyer in the auditorium hallway.

For children preschool through 6th grade, there are fun, friendly Bible-centered classes during the Sunday school hour and morning worship service. Awana Kid’s Clubs meet for this same age group on Wednesday evening throughout the School year.

What about teen students?

Our student ministries are broken into two main age groups, Junior and Senior High (7-8th and 9-12th). Both of these ages meet together at 9:45 AM for songs, announcements regarding the youth ministry, and fellowship. They split apart into adjoining classrooms for separate teaching sessions. There is a 7-8th grade Awana club on Wednesdays. Teens attend the main services on Sunday morning and evening. There many different teen activities and opportunities throughout the year.

Is there anything expected of me during a service?

You are welcome to take part in as much or as little as you would like while visiting at Landmark. Feel free but not required at all to participate in the singing, offering, prayer times, or anything that we do as a church family. We understand that you may simply want to observe what’s going on around our church. If you are willing, we may ask you to take a visitor’s information pack home with you and fill out a visitor’s information card so we can get to know you in a better way.

What about my other questions?

If there’s something we missed on this list, just contact us or ask someone when you arrive. Our basic belief and teaching can be found here. We hope your first visit at Landmark will be a wonderful experience! We exist to glorify God through the lives of people. We hope you will allow us to do that by serving you and your family. We are looking forward to meeting you personally.
