Last week, we began a study on the “Heart of Prayer” focused on a couple of Paul’s prayers in the book of Ephesians. There is a difference between being someone who prays and having a heart of prayer. In our first study, we focused on the fact that prayer by its nature is about dependence. We see that in who we are praying to, how we are praying, and what we are praying. Our thought for this week may feel overly simplistic, but it is a truth we often ignore. Prayer should be spiritual.
