Visiting Landmark
When Are Landmark’s Services?
Morning Worship / Kid’s Classes – 10:00 AM
Family Bible Study and Worship – 7:00 PM
Where is Landmark located?
What can I expect when I visit?
There will be greeters in the foyer that can help if you need directions to the nursery or kids classes. During a service, there will be music in the form of congregational singing, choir specials, instrumental songs, and solos. The pastor will greet the church as a whole and lead everyone in prayer. There will be a helpful, challenging message given by Pastor Sumpter, and the entire service will be a little over an hour in length.
Visitors are welcome in all of our meetings and services. Morning Kid’s Classes begin at 9:45 AM, and Morning Worship begins at 10 AM. On Sunday evening at 5 PM children and adults meet to study the Scriptures in small groups through Kids4Truth clubs and Life Group Bible Studies. On Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM children and adults meet together for family Bible study and worship.
Where do my children go?
Starting with infants and toddlers, we have excellent nursery services with qualified workers, clean facilities, and a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Nurseries are provided during every service including group Bible Studies, and they are located just off the main foyer in the auditorium hallway.
What about teen students?
Our student ministries are broken into two main age groups, Junior and Senior High (7-8th and 9-12th). These ages meet together Sunday Evening at 5:00. Teens attend the Morning Worship service on Sunday. Teen activities are held throughout the year to encourage and grow our young adults in Christ.
Is there anything expected of me during a service?
You are welcome to take part in as much or as little as you would like while visiting at Landmark. Feel free but not required at all to participate in the singing, offering, prayer times, or anything that we do as a church family. We understand that you may simply want to observe what’s going on around our church. If you are willing, we may ask you to take a visitor’s information pack home with you and fill out a visitor’s information card so we can get to know you in a better way.
What about my other questions?
If there’s something we missed on this list, just contact us or ask someone when you arrive. Our basic belief and teaching can be found here. We hope your first visit at Landmark will be a wonderful experience! We exist to glorify God through the lives of people. We hope you will allow us to do that by serving you and your family. We are looking forward to meeting you personally.
