We are told to pray without ceasing. While this doesn't mean we are commanded to never stop consciously forming words of prayer, Jesus is an example for us and was continually in a prayer mode. He is shown to pray alone, in public, before meals, before important decisions, before healing, after healing, to do the Father's will, and in almost every circumstance of His ministry.
