Behold The Lamb - Lesson 27 - Examining Jesus Before - Midweek Prayer Meeting 5/5/2021

Author and End: The Gospel Throughout the Bible

In the Bible accounts of Jesus’ life, we see him as a baby and then quickly fast forward to find Him as a man on the banks of the Jordan River coming to be baptized. We only see him once in between. At the age of twelve (a common time for a Jewish boy to be considered a man), Jesus goes to Jerusalem with His family for the Passover Feast. We can only imagine what these “unknown years” were like for Jesus. God decided we didn’t need to know. However, from what little we do know about the time leading up to Jesus’ earthly ministry, we can still find the plan and purpose of God.

Scripture References: John 1:28-34, Matthew 3:13-17, Luke 2:39-52

From Series: "Author and End: The Gospel Throughout the Bible"

"Author & End" will follow the Gospel throughout the entire Bible, and we will discover that Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith. In lesson 1 of our series, we see that the "ends of the Gospel" have been the purpose of God from the very beginning.
