Evangelism has always been part of the Bible-believing Christian church. Jesus final and primary command is to make other disciples. As recipients of God’s grace, we are motivated to be outward facing with the message of Christ. We should be intentional in our decisions to maximize our opportunities to declare the Gospel locally and around the world. We are not called to preach ourselves but Jesus Christ the Lord.
The Great Commission calls us to an intentional and sacrificial life.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 – We have an opportunity and responsibility to be making disciples of Jesus.
There are many things that separate the Christian faith from the man-made religions of the world. One of the most prominent is the belief in God's promise of a literal, bodily resurrection of people. This principle is taught throughout Scripture with key passages in the Old Testament including Ezekiel and Daniel. We can't teach it all in an evening, so we will mainly look at 1 Corinthians 15 which provides a good summary.
