A Monumental Fall - 1 Samuel 15:1-25 - Midweek Prayer Meeting 1-3-2024
It has become clear in the first half of 1 Samuel that Saul has some serious issues. While it is easy to look at his rebellion as a warning against egregious sin, we might find that our own hearts are sometimes not all that distant from his. Saul did not repeatedly break God's moral law. In fact, he seems concerned and focused about "spiritual" things. However, we find that his concerns are outward. Inside, he does not view God as he should. His heart of rebellion comes out in chapter 15.
