A Word to the Wise - Ecc. 2:12-26 - Midweek Bible Study
Ecclesiastes began our pursuit of meaning by examining life itself. Because the physical life always ends, there is not intrinsic meaning in just living. We also have seen the search for meaning and satisfaction lead us down the dead-end roads of wealth, pleasure, accomplishment, and work. Now, the “Preacher” tells us that he turned to wisdom to try to find some meaning in all of this. While wisdom itself is not going to be the answer, it is going point us to a proper perspective.

We want to examine and consider life under the sun and realize that must point to someone beyond it: Jesus Christ.
