As we come to the tenth chapter, we are continuing to study some of the visions that God gave to Daniel throughout his lifetime of service to God and His people. Unlike each vision so far in this section (Daniel 7-9), this vision is spread across three chapters. This is the fourth and final of Daniel’s recorded visions. It breaks down as follows:
Chapter 10 – The Setting – When/how the vision came
Chapter 11 – The Vision – The content and prophecy
Chapter 12 – Conclusion – The end and purpose of the vision
By human nature, we are bound by the physical and natural world with it’s boundaries and limits of time and space. If we are going to experience the divine or supernatural world, it is only because God allows for it to come to us. This is exactly what happens to Daniel.
